Johnny Byrne has since recorded on both of the John Earl Walker Band's releases "Little Miss Perfect" and "I'm Leavin' You," as well as the live CDs "Live at Chicago" and "Live at Bar Bat". He has a good clean tone, superb phrasing, and clearly demonstrates that he can stand toe to toe, lick for lick, with anything these veteran axe-men can lay down. Although he is credited with appearances on the CD "Little Miss Perfect," and the CD "I'm Leaving You," Johnny ably demonstrates he can really play on the live CD "At Le Bar Bat"--a re-mastered version of which will be available shortly.
