"QUEEN" were undoubtedly the greatest rock band on the planet. All members of the band wrote songs and all took lead vocals on various album tracks, apart from John Deacon,(the quiet one), but it was Freddie Mercury, who simply oozed charisma even from early on. You knew he was special! As soon as you saw them perform "Killer Queen" on "Top of the pops" (a British institution for many on TV).
