Oz rock journo Murray Engleheart has a AC/DC bio out called AC/DC: Maximum Rock N Roll. He was on Radio National’s Breakfast Show with Fran Kelly and the interview is archived here (the third hour). Nice little spot and Engleheart’s views on AC/DC are worth listening too in regards to their image and reputation. Note to Fran Kelly. The chords to TNT are E (oi) G (oi) and A (oi) not A, C and D. I play guitar and I know. Ok, harmonically the chords have the same intervals but playing TNT in just doesn’t sound right. The riff isn’t as tough. Elsewhere, Pavlov’s Cat heard another Engleheart interview where he seemed shocked at anyone thinking that band members could be bisexual given their name. Personally, I don’t care who anyone bats for. Just how hard they rock.
