Back in businessAbout 19 years, I had a blue Charvette. A cheap but well made stunt guitar for shredding made by Charvel. It got forgotten when I went overseas and was in a cupboard at my parents place for a long time until last month when up for a family function. I got it out of the cupboard and took it back with me. Still in great nick it needed some minor attention to get if playable again (thank you East Gosford Music). It looks like this: See the pointy headstock? You know its 80s rock’n'roll. And with a Floyd Rose whammy bar there is a tendency to do this: Don’t forget the low, fast action with light gauge strings which does tend one to irredeemable escapades of semi-musical wankery such as: It feels a little strange to play as my main axe has been a Tele for over a decade. But it is a fun guitar really. Not intended for serious music at all. |
