With the decrease in CD sales due to digital download, the music industry just isn't what it use to be. Many smaller labels, music producers, and music artist have gone bankrupt because of this.
A concern some producers are having is that there are so many producers selling their beats online that the market has some how become saturated, and have made it harder to sell beats online. Sure that "sounds good", but anyone with any real business knowledge knows that is pure non-sense.
One thing I never understood was why there is a separation between grinding "offline" and "online". To me it's all grinding towards to same goal. In fact you can use local promotion methods to increase your online production business.
Something thats always bugged me about music production is we limit it. If you tell someone that you are a music producer you either have a Benz, or a loser with a dream.
